Australian Au Pairs
Australians are hardworking, easy going, friendly & sociable. They can generally cook pretty well and are always happy to lend a helping hand. Most are confident drivers although some may prefer or only be licensed to drive an automatic car. As native English speakers they tend to adapt fairly quickly to life in the UK. We offer Australian au pairs and some mothers helps and qualified nannies. All applicants are live in.
Czech Au Pairs
Today the Czech Republic enjoys a prosperous economy and for this reason fewer applicants are coming to the UK as au pairs than before the country joined the European Union. Czech people are generally cheerful and friendly people with a strong work ethic. Most are used to simple cooking and doing housework at home and some are quite house proud.
French Au Pairs
We recruit our French au pairs from all over France and each one is carefully interviewed and vetted by our one of our experienced French recruitment consultants. Our French au pairs are very popular with our clients, any of whom come back to us every year for their annual replacement. French au pairs are great with children and in the true French tradition will strive to teach children good manners at all times.
Greek Au Pairs
Greek au pairs usually have a good level of English. The average Greek applicant is older and many have a University Degree. They are family oriented, generous, friendly and sociable. It can be good to know that work conditions in Greece are quite bad so they can be a bit suspicious at first but if you welcome them into your family you will have lots of love back. Au pairing is a new phenomenon in Greece so it helps I you also have a chat with the applicant’s parents before arrival just to reassure them. The best part of hosting a Greek au pair is that they truly love children and they will do everything to make sure that the child is happy and safe.
Spanish Au Pairs
Spanish girls are renowned for their family and child friendly nature, as many girls grow up surrounded by the younger members of their large Spanish family. Our Spanish girls are well educated, often university graduates and make a lovely addition to any household.
Swedish Au Pairs
Swedish au pairs excel when it comes to their English level with most speaking very good to fluent levels of English. They have a high work ethic (most Swedes start their first part time job aged 16) and are open minded, honest, independent, adaptable and used to helping out with the household chores at home. Swedish schools even offer classes for those aged 12 plus on how to run a household. Culturally Swedes can be a bit slow to open up until they get to know you. They almost never raise their voices and will never smack a child as this is regarded as abuse in Sweden. Au pairing remains very popular in Sweden as many mothers and grandmothers were au pairs. In Sweden there are no class differences and everyone is treated as an equal, so a Swedish au pair will expect to be treated as an equal by her host family.
Italian Au Pairs
Italians are well educated and cultured individuals who generally enjoy a fairly high standard of living at home. Extremely child friendly many come to England as au pairs to improve their English in order to further their career goals. Those who choose to be au pairs do so because they want to improve their English while working with children.
Male Au Pairs
Our Male au pairs come from various countries but most commonly we place Spanish, Italian, French or Swedish males. Male au pairs are perfect for families with boys and/or older children. We get some very sporty males, some of whom are even PE teachers or sports coaches. Many are confident drivers. Male au pairs will help with cooking and household chores as they understand that this is part of the au pair role.
We also occasionally offer other nationalities such as Bulgarian and South African au pairs.
